That's right, they AREN'T pickups. That is part of the deal - I want a pickup. I want an EV. Now, with those criteria, find me a vehicle available new in the North American market that I can get for $24k-28k.

New, EV, pickup. Those are the necessary elements.

Yes Android vs Apple, Nissan vs Toyota, don’t see Slate will be able to compete with Tesla.

Slate will though be for some. Some, although don’t know why they sport a Leaf? But they do.

Too late to the EV game.

It’s like when Amazon tried to get into cellphone (Fire phone) game and failed.

Except they aren't competing with Tesla. The Slate is in a different market segment.
