Hey everyone, just wanted to get a thread started on things we'd enjoy seeing offered over time. Most might not be feasible but it's nice to see peoples thoughts.

Personally, I'd like to see a 'Slate Toolbox' offered in their store. Just a simple handheld toolbox that contains all the tools or equipment for someone to do any of the "basic" or "moderate" installations/swaps/removals without having to buy multiple tool sets when you may only need 1 or 2 things out of the whole set. Ideally it would allow someone whose never bought tools or doesnt know specifics to have what they need to work on their slate.

Replacement leather wrapped or wood grain steering wheel. Not a leather cover to go on the factory steering wheel but a legit leather wrapped wheel. Even the vegan leather wheels on my Tesla's feel better in the hand than the rubber steering wheel that was in my 2006 Ranger and 2019 Colorado.

Would be cool if they could make the steering wheel modular, so you can change out the outer rim and maybe the spokes wot in out disconnecting the airbag

Decal packages.. I’m not a fan of wraps, but some nice running board decals and/or bed height broad ‘stripes’ would be nice.
Also, Logo delete packages. ‘Slate’ is nice, but they missed the mark graphically with its relationship to the vehicle, IMO.

When I had a Honda Element, the Honda Pilot steering wheels were functionally interchangeable with Honda Element. I bought a leather Honda Pilot wheel on eBay and swapped it. You had to disconnect the battery, remove the air bag, swap wheel then reinstall air bag. I think Honda Pilot owners were upgrading to wooden wheels creating a surplus of leather wheels.

Wiper for rear window on SUV kits. That window is going to get messy in the winter.
I don't remember the rear window glass getting too messy in winter. I'd occasionally reach across with the squeegee at the gas station if the fluid wasn't frozen, that was plenty.

Oh wait. I'm not going to be going to gas stations anymore. Huh. Weird. I guess I'll have to add a bit of glass cleaner/quick detailer and some microfiber towels to my tool kit.

For summer, I'd like an upgraded rear window glass with a sliding door! I used to drive a Ranger like the one in my profile, that was a great way to get a little airflow without buffeting.

I'd like a heated wheel. Don't care if it's vinyl, rubber, or leather, but I'd like something to keep my hands warm while driving in the cold. I don't want to have to run the dash vents and cabin heater to blow warm air on my hands, that's reserved for a trickle of defrost.

There's user-accessible power on the wheel for the Bluetooth adapter, I wouldn't mind the wheel heater and bluetooth controls being mutually exclusive.

I am less than enthusiastic about aftermarket wheel heaters, that seems sketchy...
