The existing reservations list (which I haven't gotten around to joining) has a huge spike of us on the same day. If we'd try to compare reservations and delivery windows, we'd probably need to be a bit more specific.

When did you get your reservation confirmation email, in New York City local time (i.e. Eastern Time, mostly Eastern Daylight Time, possibly Eastern Standard Time for some)? That might do, but we'll have plenty of time to analyze before we get to late 2026.

I did just learn that @SlateAuto is a registered forum account though, with no public activity and a Troy MI listed as the location, but still lurking today. Is it an imposter's squater account, or a legit corp account?! 🕵

🤔 I'm not sure that counter is correct. 8.5 hours would make it 6:00 AM in SoCal. But the drill down shows 5:00 AM. 🙈

We know the price..that cat's out of the bag. The real news is about the delivery windows and how they relate (if at all) to reservation dates.

I’m only considering the big-battery variant, so I don’t know my price.

I’m a fence-sitter and already own an EV, so the details really matter when choosing between:

1. Buy a Slate now. If the price for the big-battery version is really good
2. Wait a year, pay down some things, and cross-shop with Ford’s low-cost EV offerings.
3. Don’t buy a Slate, buy a used EV next year instead.

Today I learn if Option #1 looks like a winner!

Financial prudence probably favors options #2 or #3, but I need all of the details that will be released today to figure that out for real!!!
