Can someone explain the "state of the assembly line" news? Is it anything new or just what slate has released rehashed?

Nothing new in my opinion. No pictures of the line humming at speed or anything.

The manufacturing manager did mention that the Warsaw area has skills due to it being a hub of orthopedic equipment makers. Oh, and RVs up the road.

My comment: They better choose former RV workers carefully because they have a poor reputation, earned or not.

I did note mention coming from the Slate employee of the factory being able to build as SUV on the line, which may be a big plus for some, especially those needing a complete vehicle delivered for transport to Hawaii.

Them building the SUVs in factory would indicate to me that you wouldn't get the truck parts delivered with the SUV. But I could be completely wrong.

450k units per year off of the assembly line???? Did I hear that correctly? That is new. 150k was the previous number I remember seeing.

Testing and giving demonstration rides in production validation vehicles off of the actual assembly line is also new.

I think he was trying to say "for 150,000" but he mumbled a bit.

I see a lot of people are "over the hype"....good for them. I am a newer slate preorder guy and only reserved mine at the end of May. This is all new information for me. I definitely found this video to be informative, and I thank you for it.

Thanks. I know some folks who have been here since last year, or have been watching everything they can over the last two weeks find these repetitive.
I guess I should start being specific and say “interesting to me”. I have a reservation since last year, but I haven’t preordered as circumstances have changed. So I’m invested in watching Slate hopefully succeed.
I know my spouse and kids joke with me when they catch me watching or listening to Slate videos and podcasts.
it’s repetitive to others for some of the topics for sure.
