Lots. Just....lots.
Everyone probably gets spam mail, sure, but what else? Or SPECIFICALLY what spam mail have you gotten?

I thought it would be interesting to see what the various ad campaigns are showing us. From what I've read so far, not everyone is getting the same stuff. So lets compare notes...

U.S. Mail. NOTHING.

Email, reminders about pre-order and what have you.

I'm jealous of those who got US Mail of the 3D truck/SUV, or the email botherings about things they had in their queue. I got none of those. People sounded irritated. I would like to feel that irritation. :)

One email asking to pre-order after the pre-order was placed. One encouraging more poking around the maker.

None I'd consider spam, not much else from Slate. It's been quiet for direct communication.

Two pieces of mail. The Slate sketch postcard and the preorder card with the 3-d graphic on it (I preordered within 5 minutes of them opening the site). About 27 unsolicited emails... So a little over 2 per month.

I'm not at all bothered by them, but the "Is this still on your mind?" emails are a bit much. I locked in my build pretty early on. I currently have two in the maker and they are identical except for color.

Just a point of info about spam - it's not spam or unsolicited if you signed up for it. If you did sign up for it and changed your mind, unsubscribe.

I get periodic emails about their partners or reminding me to visit the maker. None of which I mind, because I did in fact sign up for it.

Oh, and I got one of those cool cards in the mail, with the FN changing color to blue-green. Fun!

Absolutely nothing. My guess is I would have if they had a reservation from me, but not a preorder.

Reservation. Pre-order. Doesn't seem to matter.

It appears to be based on an excellent random number generator.

EMAILS: JUNE 25-Pre-order confirmed with Order #.
JUNE 26-(I hadn't done much in the Maker at that point).
"Keep refining your Slate (or not, up to you)"
JULY 1: "Update: your delivery window is confirmed: APRIL-JUNE 2027"
JULY 24: 5 AM PST "Message received! We'll get back to you ASAP". (less than 30 min after my FIRST EMAIL to SLATE)
JULY 24: 6:53 AM PST (I think Slate Agents are on ET time?)
KATIE: Slate Follow Up "answers my question" :)
ZERO Spam emails. (I keep email folders: General Slate emails and PRE ORDER folder)
and APRIL 12: Congrats on your Slate Reservation!
Have you tried the Slate Maker yet?

welcoming me after I first RESERVED

Email answers to my questions (I chose email as my preference). Telephone conversations about Hawai’i delivery. No spam of any type and no USPS mail.

Same here. Two or three emails reminding me to add accessories and finalize my truck, but I've gotten nothing physical from the mailbox.

No snail mail, no texts, emails confirming my account and preorder, no email when delivery quarter was assigned, automated and human response to my email, and promotion of treehouse and the new wrap themes. That’s it.

I took the snail mail as proof Slate knows where to deliver my Truck next April - June 2027. 🤣
