What Slate marketing / swag have YOU received in the mail?

Absolutely nothing. My guess is I would have if they had a reservation from me, but not a preorder.

I have a later reservation and a pre-order, and I haven't received any physical mail either.
Not that I care. I would look at it for a couple minutes and then it would just be clutter.

I’ve observed my donations to organizations are spent on postage sending me appeals for more money.

Two pieces of mail. The Slate sketch postcard and the preorder card with the 3-d graphic on it (I preordered within 5 minutes of them opening the site). About 27 unsolicited emails... So a little over 2 per month.

I'm not at all bothered by them, but the "Is this still on your mind?" emails are a bit much. I locked in my build pretty early on. I currently have two in the maker and they are identical except for color.

I also got the postcard sketch and the orange holographic Slate, kinda wishing I got the "Third Coast" blue-green as I'm a Michigander on that third coast.

But I haven't seen an "Is this still on your mind?" email. Here's the full set of emails I got from their marketing team:

From the dates on the right, I extracted a marketing campaign release cadence:

Lots of emails in April-May 2025, a quiet summer/fall, a few more around the holidays, a quiet spring, and then a veritable flurry of messages in May-June-July now that pre-orders are open.

I got the post card sketch and the orange 3D card. I get emails every now and then telling me to preorder (even though I already have). Since I went to the NYC event I have been getting more and sometimes different emails since I gave them a different email address than the one I preordered with.

I made my reservation within the first week or two of launch and I preordered on the first day. I have also purchased merch (Slate hat) from the shop early on. I don't know if any of that makes a difference as to what they send.

Ive gotten a bunch of emails but Ive been dumping them as fast as they showed up. Now I kinda wish I'd kept them. That spread sheet is kind of a neat visual I cant replicate now. :/

If anyone feels like they are missing out, check the settings you selected for communication and contact when you made your Slate.auto profile. If you removed all the options, you shouldn't be getting anything. Otherwise check your email filter settings (obviously).

Jealous of the pin, bandana, & tie! I did get a coloring book at the Navy Pier showing. I’ve also received the lenticular card & the sketch.

I got this the other day. I put it on my fridge cause I thought it was kinda cool.

I got that in the mail recently and a cool burlap bag at the Fort Worth showing. I missed the sketch mailer because I did not provide my address for the first $50 order deal. I did when I provided my address for the $300 reservation and the 3D card showed up.

I have the tote bag and coloring book from the Ft. Worth event that you got for lassoing the little wooden cow.

I have gotten the mailer with the Slate sketch and the lenticular one, and as far as emails I've gotten most all of the ones people have talked about. I never got the phone call when people were randomly being called. I did put their number in my contacts so I'd actually know it's Slate when they called, so I'm still hoping for one!

My count: One drawing card, one holo card. I actually thought for a split second they'd put my truck on the holo, if only because it was VERY close to my design without the SUV kit on it.

I bet they accidentally pulled the trigger a couple days too late on the holo cards to go out so we got them well after we preordered on the First Shift, as it were
