Bench seating for front

Someone with more knowledge feel free to correct me, but I think bench seats went away due to safety regulations. So unlikely there would ever be an official part.

No! Just fell out of favor for console compartment and gear shift location.

A bench seat may make me keep the truck configuration rather than going suv. But if they are already doing saftey tests with out the bench I don't think it will happen.

Now they have to add a middle seat shoulder belt, airbags for middle passenger. Cost just went up 1500 or more. It is a cheap disposable vehicle.

I would prefer the bench as well. Without the driveshaft tunnel and manual shifter it would make that middle seat more usable than my old Ranger.

I insist…. The DIY and the basic model to customize… will create a lot of aftermarket manufacturers!!! Sure some bench seat will appear in the meantime.!!
Even two rear seat at the bed side by side . Like old Land Cruiser pickups.!!!
