    “It’s so plastic!”

I didn’t sit in it at Navy Pier, but took some pics. It looks very nice & in production should be better.

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

I know in Chicago there are numerous Fast Chargers at Whole Foods, Target, Costco. That would help range anxiety.

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

Not everyone has access to at home charging, such as renters. I’m fortunate enough to live across street from a dealership with level 2 chargers, but if not, that would greatly reduce my confidence in owning an EV. I still think fueling stations could include a few DC fast chargers to raise the...

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

I still don’t understand why the big oil companies don’t install fast chargers more often. They can set the price to make some money & get the residual business as well. I get that the initial installation is very costly, but economy of scale should come into play at some point.

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

Well, at least the Slate can use Tesla chargers. The NACS connection makes it that much more accessible, one way to look at it.

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

Quite a few Sam’s Club & Walmart locations have Electrify America DC Fast chargers. I really wish the media reporting things got their facts straight before spouting disinformation.

First Interview I've seen with Slate's new CEO Peter Faricy

Great interview, pricing comments aside. Even if it’s under $30K, still a helluva deal! I get more excited every time I talk to someone who hasn’t heard of Slate yet. I like to consider myself an EVangelist!

What I saw this weekend in Chicago is the 3rd brake light is in rear window, the assembly moves back for SUV.

Absolutely buying, but worried about this one thing...

Went to Navy Pier this weekend to see the Slate up close. The cloth interior looks durable & comfortable. (It was a preproduction Slate, so couldn’t sit in it.) It’s a very robust vehicle. I’m looking forward to having a vehicle for my local running around & short trips. My EV6 will be for...
