  1. Home Level 2 charging from generator outlet

Ah...In my mind, I thought you were MOUNTING a retractable array to your Slate! I was going to really geek out.
  2. Home Level 2 charging from generator outlet

How much sun juice could you derive from cheap-ish panels? Curious
  3. AM/FM Radio is a safety issue

Solar powered wind up am/fm with a PS1 outlet for speakers? That was part of my Y2K kit.
  4. AM/FM Radio is a safety issue

I guess if the power outage is sufficiently broad, you aren't driving your Slate very far away anyway (solar solutions/backup generators notwithstanding)?
  5. AM/FM Radio is a safety issue

Hey hey hey. I resemble that characterization. AM nutjobs tend to pay taxes, so I endorse their choices of listening engagement - baseball, sky is falling, or reruns of car talk. (I’m pretty sure all of the above are available via apps on the tele - I haven’t listened to AM in 35 years so...
  6. Will the Slate’s 8 seconds to 60 mph be adequate for safe highway merging?

The ignore button works great here. I ignored him a long time ago. It makes this forum more tolerable to us average intelligence folks.
  7. Slate Marketing is making me lose interest.

No way, dude. We are recording every comment with the contempt that is due from keyboard warriors. Game on.
  8. Will the Slate’s 8 seconds to 60 mph be adequate for safe highway merging?

I’m on your team. Hopefully the delivery zip code doesn’t slow you down!
  11. Slate Marketing is making me lose interest.

David has made mention of trading a Day 1 reservation for a few bags of the “good stuff”? Interesting
  12. Slate Marketing is making me lose interest.

Just a 6x10’ utility trailer that I bought to haul my golf cart around….750#. I’m known to tow all kinds of furniture and crap. Slate won’t work for the uhaul trailer kid apartment moves, of course (the Lightning excelled). Working my way through the actual use case vs periodic needs.
  13. Will the Slate’s 8 seconds to 60 mph be adequate for safe highway merging?

Meet me on the ATL speedway (I75/I85 Connector). Helmet is optional. Those are what we are talking about. I’ve suffered all those things you mentioned above. Unavoidable incompetence/inattention at <45mph. I’m hoping Slate’s frame and airbags are up to those. I also want the skinny...
  14. Heated Seats Covers??? Motor Trend article: "Automotive Designer Tisha Johnson and Slate Auto: The Perfect Match"

I’m so with you. Would need a way to plug in to get all of the seat adjustments AND the heating/ventilation action….but first I want to find a 40/20/40 bench (heated leather is second).
