Didn't really pay until to the use for the bed side notches until seeing someone point this out online. These notches will be perfect for laying crossbars / 4x4 across to make a scaffold above the wheel arches. Perfect for plywood, mattress, anything wide and flat.

@Weekly_Delivery_8349 happened by the Slate headquarters in Troy and spotted these in the parking lot. Different style side mirrors on the separate prototypes.
