Just noticed that the fender flares option moves the tires outboard by an inch or so. It increases the width, but means the fender flares don't keep any more dirt off the truck, and doesn't allow you to run wider tires.
Note the alignment of the bumper and tire tread without flares:

No doubt! But she's not eligible. Mr. Howell may be a cad sometimes but he knew what he was doing when he put a ring on her, and I won't try to take that from him!
I assume yours also stated "and your reservation means you get priority"? I believe you'll just end up being assigned a later...
No, but if I'm marooned on a desert island with the Skipper, the Professor, Ginger, Mr. Howell, Mrs. Howell, and Mary Ann, I don't need to spend years dating Mary Ann to know that she's the one for me. It's obvious. We'll work it out and can smooth over any differences that come up in the...
No, my designs are still in my garage. Maybe log out and back in? Are you inadvertently using a different email?
I was also excited to see the email, I know I've seen more than enough to convince me to put down $250 more! I don't need to test drive it.
If it turns out it's a monstrously...
That doesn't give you the focal length that was used and doesn't tell you the height of the [virtual] camera. The profile will change drastically depending on whether an image with the same number of pixels per inch was taken with a wide-angle lens from close up or a telephoto lens from a long...
Existing or current? Old Toyota SR5, old Mazda B2000, old Chevy S10 are direct comparisons (but not really on carsized), old Jeep CJ is shorter length/wheelbase but greater height, obviously Minis and Miatas and the like but those aren't pickups...
Yeah, those two paragraphs are polar opposites.
I expect that the left and right speakers are just two-wire 4.5" speakers without an audio source or amplifier input, they need something in the center (whether a single-DIN aftermarket head unit, Slate Bluetooth speaker, or whatever) to drive...
Who's up for a December road trip? I'm about 7 charge stops from north Texas, and a one-way ticket with a budget airline costs about $180... any suggestions on how I might best pass as Texan?
Or assuming the Cybertruck was first to Texas and Cali not because those are the largest states but...
I really hope that Slate sends a prototype or at least some renders their way, the size comparison is a HUGE selling point!
The recent video proves that they're thinking about it, they know Slate buyers don't want huge trucks, so being able to compare it to other vehicles on carsized.com would...
A home level 1 or level 2 charger just has a contactor and welded-contact detection circuit. It's only little more than a dumb cable, the car does all of the AC-DC conversion and charge management. There is a control signal that tells the car whether the outlet is capable of a 15A, 20A, 30A, or...
Where'd you find that picture? Nvm, reverse image search found it, and in 3x higher resolution:

Kind of scummy to crop out the photographer's name and...
Nailed it in one! Or at least close enough, it's a DC/DC converter not a transformer but I know what you meant.
It's inefficient because you need to energize things like the main contactor coil that needs to have enough power to switch 200 kW to the motor when you really only want a trickle of...
Pretty sure the retiree is talking about the "BATT" wire on typical head units. It keeps (kept) the real-time clock running in the background and kept radio station frequencies and equalizer settings. Not sure why radio manufacturers couldn't figure out how to add a lithium coin cell to keep an...
Definitely considering this for my Slate! I suspect that the biggest easy win for aerodynamics will be the lowering kit. Perhaps a tonneau cover, or a roll bar ladder rack with side skirts (though I suspect that the effects of the fancy down-facing wing on the back of the pickup rear window...
