we also gotta look at the possible cost of accessories rising 6-12 months after vehicle launch. i like the idea of "locking in" the price of some stuff when the truck launches.
Third parties i get. Tho I question why get them from slate. But the actual slate accessories like the optional headlights, center console, speaker kits. In my business I order stuff all the time through venders and have to pay the shipping charges to a business address... Can't imagine the...
At first I was under the impression that if it was ordered at the same time as the truck, some of the accessories would be installed, but then I was thinking "ok, they'll just all be in the cab or bed of the truck when it shows up on the trailer."
But now another couple hundred on shipping...
Wait... So any accessories we order, from slate... Don't for up in like the bed of the truck... We actually have to pay additional shipping?!? So another couple hundreds of dollars on top...
"I have altered the deal..."
"This deal is getting worse all the time"
if that were the case, and we get the fog light kit with the extra bumper, they are gonna just throw the lights and bumpers in the bed of the truck and leave us with an extra bumper? how about wheels? they are just going to ship us wheels and tires unmounted?
iIf somebody orders a vehicle with...
cant tell a huge diffeerence between the 2 non solar options, but i did find a youtube video of the Nexus and i liked the features i saw, and it can withstand 400lbs on top.. so like, i could stand on it for no reason and not break it i guess.
basically this is what i came up with using their wrap stuff. going to put my company logo on the door and maybe phone number in the upper bed area. liike a 70's classic work truck. not sure what lowering options are really going to look like. after awhile with the truck, if i deicide i like it...
I originally was going for the "cargo" set up, but upon further thinking, and wanting the ability to reach my tools, think im going with the tonneau/ladder rack set up.
i'm assuming this is comes installed upon delivery besides maybe the tower racks on the bed. If my truck shows up with all the accessories in the bed for me to install than whats the point of ordering em through slate? also i dont trust myself getting the wheel decals perfectly centered so they...
not exaclty the type of thing ya'll are talking about, but i'm thinking of printing an inset for a LCD panel to run custom images/advertisements. be pretty neat "off road use only" feature.

Usually join forums for the speedy side of things but this is the first time i joined for a work vehicle. Thats right, this will be used to drive to peoples homes and fix their shit. using a transit connect now. at first i was worried about how everything is going to Store into the...
disappointed the lack of price on the lowering kit. assuming they are just replacing existing parts, shouldn't be that much, but since its "pending" im worried.
