I’m guessing that ArtCenter wrapped SUV is the same as this one from Monterey Car Week:
Wheel and tire package looks the same with the Fifteen52s, roof rack, black tint, etc.
I’ve yet to make it out that way for it but the Element community does a massive meetup every year not far from there.
If the Slate is customizable enough on the inside, I could see it filling a much needed gap in the market for Element owners wanting electric power.
Yeah, I would absolutely love to pick it up from the plant, visit some friends I have there, and make a roadtrip out of it. I hope they continue to tell the stories of the people bringing this to life.
Well said. I think the Slate appeals to a different type of consumer than most new vehicles. I’ve driven a 2008 Honda Element and 2022 Honda Ridgeline for years. Together, they give us everything we need…reliability, comfort, utility, etc. The Slate is the first vehicle that has the possibility...
My thoughts exactly.
It’s also difficult in photos and video to see it, but the wrap on the SUV was definitely to blame for the perception that panels were significantly off. Nothing was perfect, but the wrap job was noticeably average at best.
Hey all, new to the forum but that’s my video. Thank you to those who have checked it out.
To add some context…
The wrapped SUV version was not a drivable prototype. The blank Slate was, but according to the people there, it was an early prototype.
You can see in the video that they use this...
