I was catching up on Slate videos, and this one is a walkthrough back in Dallas. The top picture is the slate on the passenger side and the bottom is the driver side. Notice that the handle faces the opposite direction - the driver side pulls towards the front to open, and the passenger side...
I noticed the B-pillar is particularly chunky and the traditional looking over the shoulder technique might not work too well.
Is there a blind-spot detector and light on the side mirrors to mitigate the problem?
I agree with you, CorvusCarvax. My current daily is Swedish-made, gets to 60 in just over half of Slate's time and 90mph is a jogger's pace. I've driven much faster with that car on a track.
I'll have to switch to my granny mode in my future Slate.
