Is ~150 mile range adequate for a fleet vehicle ?

It’s been my experience is that nobody remembers to plug in and recharge pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. And when it’s time for you to use it, the charge is nearly empty. This mindset needs to change with a Slate in your fleet.

Slate's open dash panels are ideal for Amateur Radio / GMRS!

Not sure, but in this view, it appears the hidden dash panel has a 12V power car plug for ham radios, dashcams, and radar detectors. USB ports would also be nice!

Slate's open dash panels are ideal for Amateur Radio / GMRS!

Amateur Radio Fans: Appears that Slate's open dash panel design may be ideally suitable for mounting a mini–Amateur Radio or GMRS mobile rig. This location would be superior to cup holder mounts or under dash brackets. The flip open panel will keep the unit visible and neatly hidden from view...

Slate's big bet - going against the grain

I fully agree that Slate’s business model with a single, basic configuration and DIY customization is definitely a game changer. For some, it can be the fun ‘project car’ we always wanted. But is Slate really going against the grain? The short answer is “no”. We can all agree the design...

    Heat Pump vs Resistive Heater

That’s the best case for sure. When the ambient temperature drops to 30 degrees and below, I guarantee the quoted range will drop like a rock. Anyone with an EV knows this. The Slate is being built in Indiana with corporate HQ in Michigan, so they know what ‘real winters’ are like.

Where's the 3rd brake light / center high mount stop lamp?

Also known as the 3rd brake light. In all current Slate media the CHMSL is not shown on preproduction models. This is required by NHTSA to prevent rear end collisions since 1986. On the base truck it should be over the rear glass on the cab, if the SUV kit is ordered then it will need to be...

Kenda Klever S/T All-Season tire (245/65/17) on standard 17" Slate OEM wheel

Nice detail! Decent ratings for treadwear 500; traction A, temperature A. Keep in mind the 17” wheel will deliver higher range than the optional 20” wheels. But I still prefer the look of the 20” wheels.
