Yes I’m familiar with Texas web site. I haven’t renew every year when it due, and I’m out of state. I’m sure the same thing would apply if I bought out of state but want to register in Texas. That’s when the sales tax would kick in but thanks for your input.
i just need one. But thanks for the...
My main use of the Slate would be a Toad behind our Mororhome. We leave Texas in early May and will not return until October. And we spend the summer all over Michigan. It would be very convenient to pick up the slate in Indiana if the timing is right. That’s why I am asking. Surely I’m not the...
We take the ever up to Michigan from Texas in early May and stay until October. The perfect time would be have the Slate ready for me on the way fup north. I would just rent a U-Haul trailer for the stuff I would normally put in my jeep.
It’s being engineered for flat rowing. That’s the reason I’m in for the Slate. New jeeps are north of 50 tgousand. So I could get a new car for my wife and the Slate as the road,
Is Slate looking at the new battery technology that is going to be on line and produced in 2027/2028? The German dealt and air technology seems to be the game changer. Just wondering if Slate will consider these batteries over the current lithium as a replacement or standard moving forward
This would be useful if using the Slate as a toad behind an RV. That’s why I’m in this, for a lighter, cheaper, electric toad, 4 down behind my RV.
My main use for the Slate is a second vehicle and being towed behind my RV. The Slate will be filled with electric bike, and propane bottles, and my grill and charcoal. My driving will be two my wife and little dog . So I’m thinking I might go with the regular battery if the cost is 4000 more...
I think I’ll get the same setup as soon as the four down is certified. A suv with no back seat to start with, 2 inch lift. I’ll pick it up in Indiana if the timing is right.
I think minimalists concept is the way to go. Meaning get the barebones like the choice of battery because they will not be interchangeable. And get the top with any racks you want. The rest is just like you mentioned. Change out a wrap, returning it instead of tossing it, and let Slate properly...
I think I read where Slate is working with the insurance industry to get some info to customers who are asking this question. In other words, it’s on the to do list at Slate.
