I gotta get in on that game then...so that I can gradually become one of them extremely rich persons...one re-sale at a time. Oh wait...BBB...sigh, nevermind.
Preach it, @AZFox. All of the EV credits didn't apply if your AGI > $400K? So, they loop-holed it so that they simply applied it as a business credit to the dealer if they leased it and they discounted the lease accordingly....all of a sudden, voila, rich folks were getting (some) credits too.
So, as a thought experiment, will our Slate trucks have a similar hard-wired approach, or something easier (plug-play)?
I haven't done the equivalent yet on my Lightning, but will figure that out shortly...though, who wants a panel off of an F150? (They want the tail-lights.)
Sorry, I was attempting my best Dave Chappelle question/agreement from the 1980-2000's era of common street vernacular. (https://tenor.com/search/dave-chappelle-word-gifs)
Yes, I wasn't implying Slate add that feature. I was implying that if one needed the extra footage when parked, that's...
Don't get me wrong. The tax code is what it is (a 30K pages+ impossibility). I'm not volunteering to ignore benefits as they arise.
At this point, the technology needs to stand on its own as an overall best solution for specific use cases (daily driver, small farm truck, golf cart...
Amen. I lost the combination to a "Master" lock and needed access yesterday. 22 seconds with a crescent wrench and a screwdriver later, I had access.
Jeez. Window dressing.
If they want something in public, only you and/or your 4-legged toothy friend, are going to prevent it.
I'm now thinking of a good enough front/rear camera that could be run for "sentinel mode" for the Slate when off-duty. If there is already a planned solution, let me know.
"You're welcome" is lost on folks who don't pay taxes or never have.
As much as I'm loving my newly acquired Lightning, I'm looking forward to minimizing my daily commuter/golf-cart-replacement Slate. The EV incentives don't matter as I'm hoping for a handy ride that won't have much to break.
Yup. My tongue was firmly in cheek when I typed that. (Unless you live in GA, where we've run a state income SURPLUS for 2 years running and were given $500 surplus bonus refunds this and last year!)
I met him in Dallas as an 18 year old in the 1980’s and he was very kind to me, so I rebelled against the establishment candidates and voted for him twice in 1992 and 1996. Bill Clinton sent me a personal “thank you” card, I think?
That’s why it is a pilgrimage, brother! Not a weekend junket! (I did the touristy Honolulu and Kauai trips decades ago.).
We will bring gloves and boots.
