Another choice could be the new Scout in 2027. It will be made by VW, and use some Rivian electrical parts, possibly more. It has a 350 mile range on battery, but you can get the Harvester model with a gas powered generator to get a 500 mile range. It is a larger vehicle similar size to Rivian...
I was wondering about the charge cord Slate shows and says is included. It only has a 120 volt plug. Is there another 240 volt plug that is also included but not shown? Maybe an end you can change but not shown. You can't get level 2 charging from 120 volt, correct? Slate says everything is...
We have a Leer shell on an old Ford F-150. The back window has 2 latches that you turn, then lock. You have to open the glass before you open the tailgate, since the glass seals on the outside. I was wondering if the Slate might have the glass on the inside of the tailgate. If you notice there...
Does anyone else have trouble getting repairpal to find their shops? I put in my city, state and zip code, and a make of car, and it doesn't show any locations. I even zoomed out and don't see anything in the US. Does it only show a certain distance? I had never heard of them.
I was wondering about battery operating temperature.

By the time the Slate goes into production in 13 months or so, they may have a completely different battery than they have now. Hopefully it is cheaper, to reduce the total cost.
Sodamo ---- "are you sure it is a sunroof - transparent panel? I was under the impression it was just a removable panel, not transparent.'
The pictures I've seen, the rear removable panel is solid, not transparent.
This was shown before the official release date of 4/24/25. I thought they were going to release the slant back as a cargo top too. This could just be wrapped over the glass, I donāt know. Someone even mentioned the rear window on the slant back doesnāt open. I donāt know about that either.
The cargo topper probably wouldn't have the sunroof either. The picture shows it with a roof rack. I think they should offer it with side windows, like a typical camper shell.
