It would be beneficial to have a lo power mode - obviously not for infotainment or displays but for climate control and driving modes to extend battery range
I was interested to see what ford is cooking up until I seen model year 2028 which means late Q3, Q4 2027
hoping my Slate will be a year old by then
also ford trying to say priced about $25k 2.5 years from now is laughable
heck, Iām hoping and praying the Slate will be able to stay $25k ish...
With EV tax incentives gone and everyone in an uproar about slates price in mid $20s
what if $0 down 0% for 72 months
hereās what interest would be at 9% if vehicle came in at $29k with extended battery
Seems like a neat product / Idea
could see it being great for keeping things from sliding
wonder the feasibility of 3d printing something similar

This has come up a lot, Aftermarket will make accessories
do we really think a lot of companies will make aftermarket accessories for these?
my thought is the first couple of years NO, if the first couple of years they only produce 150,000 per year there are only a few accessories that would...
I donāt want full connectivity but being able to schedule heating, cooling and charging would be neat
my guess (just a guess) is it will be able to connect to WiFi and /or add a SIM card that you can add to a module for full remote access
Iām not sure but Iām guessing the heat and air controls...
I wish Slate wouldnāt have put the list out of events for June and then remove all the dates, then remove the events
now they are down to one for Salt Lake City Utah for June, they are running out of days in June and definitely not enough time to drum up excitement and attendance
Itās not...
Iām torn , on one hand I want relatively no tech, on the other I want to use my cell phone as a key to operate the vehicle if they have an app or remote door locks and remote start (remote heat and cooling)
Not need the key to drive
Do you think Slate already has the body panel molds or are the pre production panels 3d printed?
also, I wonder if the inner door frame is steel or composite
Here are the STL files for the 3D Print Slate Pickup and SUV scale models. I combined the Rim and Tire so it can be printed all as one.

Do we know if anybody from Slate is on this forum? Or are we just spit balling for fun?
I donāt necessarily wanna know who they are, I feel they would get bombarded
But it would be nice to know they are lurking and maybe taking suggestions and notes
