Does the current spike in fuel prices increase the appeal of the Slate?

I paid 5.249/g on 3/7, but I’m off grid for electricity. Slate is appealling to me as an EV, but only because it is a small, 2 door, EV pickup at mid $20’s. The package appeals to me, remove 1 facet and that appeal lessens greatly. So while the EV factor is very appealing, for me that’s only...

I think, be happy you made a deposit based on known information or admit you didn’t, get deposit back, buy what is a known item, but I can just about guarantee it wouldn’t be a new, small, 2 door, BEV pickup priced in mid $20’s.

SLATE truck attends WORK Truck Week in Indianapolis

EV owners could soon pay $250 annual tax to use US roads?

Rolling coal sure might come close to hate. My evolution, while not anti EV, definitely wasn’t pro and to be honest, the mandates did nothing to improve that. TBH, living off grid did influence as I didn’t see the benefits, mostly the drag on my system. But decided I needed to learn more and...

why make it complicated. Vehicle have to be registered, just add a mileage field and/or add to yearly inspection. Severe penalty when caught cheating.
