    Actively considering cancelling reservation.

So many topics to touch! The form factor, a truck, is actually irrelevant to me. Short of looking like a Kia Soul it could have been basically anything. I love the concept, as stated above, of Made in America, bare bones, low tech vehicle and a company going against the norm. Low part...

    Actively considering cancelling reservation.

I have been very excited for this truck since I first learned about it. My reservation was on day 3 and I drove an hour to see a prototype. But I have been very seriously thinking about not converting to an actual order. The brain math goes like this... $2400 to eventually put a new battery...

    Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋

Hi all. New here despite reserving on day 2. I had the opportunity to see the prototype in Olympia WA and was pleasantly surprised. It seemed well along for a prototype. Obviously a hand build prototype doesn't reflect production line vehicles but I was still happy with what I saw...

Is the cost of the SUV Kit a turn-off?

Not the first time they have said $5k. It's not cheap but you get a lot since it effectively makes three vehicles. Truck ,SUV, and open top(rollbar only). I asked if you could buy the SUV/Fastback without seats but Chris didn't answer that.

Q&A with CEO Chris Barman (Dec 16, 2025). Slateforums gets a shout out 🙌

Didn't get my question answered. Can you get the SUV/Fastback without seats?
