I'm curious what this box above the rear view mirror is. It looks like it might even have a small, single line display. I haven't owned a car for over 20 years, so I'm not used to all the modern features.

Slate appears to have confirmed remote connectivity via the ability to remote start via phone app and yet to be determined subscription fees. I’ll reserve commenting my personal opinion until the pole response is more filled out.
