Reserved one last week. I notice most exterior items seem like they’re basically exposed Allen wrench bolts, or the like. One question I keep thinking about is if tampering/theft has been considered in the design. For instance, has anyone else thought of the idea that (theoretically) someone could seemingly run off with a fender panel in a few seconds with the help of a drill?

I’m not being paranoid and I don’t think this will be a rampant issue or anything. But just thinking theoretically. I’m a believer in the Slate concept.

But any insights/thoughts on this?

I was thinking the same thing and now I'm sure Slate is as well since they monitor this forum. Body panels may not be a big issue compared to the custom headlight covers you can make. The screw heads look way to small for a locking type screw head.

Maybe any tampering will be picked up by the anti theft alarm

Hopefully in addition to the exposed fasteners, there are additional fasteners inaccessible unless another locking piece (hood, door, tailgate, etc.) is opened.

For example, on the fender we see fasteners but maybe there are additional ones on top covered by the closed hood.
