When I sat in the Slate at the Space Needle event last year, the rep said the seats will slide under the dash with the seat back going up to the steering wheel.
If this information is correct, there should be a lot of room for back seat passengers to get in and out.
Iām sorry that I insulted your truck. I was overreacting to the OPās point #2. If it werenāt for the Slate, I was planning on keeping my ā74 K1500 indefinitely.
This forum is the closest Iāve ever come to social media. Although Iām here for the latest technical information or links to articles on the Slate, I have enjoyed the hair splitting going on mostly between EB and AZ. They keep it civil and thereās much to be learned from an impassioned discussion.
Considering the location of the plant and the simplicity of the Slate, Iāve been wondering if some Amish might be be involved in the manufacturing. Iāve seen electric fireplaces marketed as Amish built.
Iām in Indiana right now and I had forgotten how badly the steel body panels rust through where they salt the roads. I suppose thatās another win for Slate so long as whatever holding the panels on wonāt rust.
No, I didnāt have time to go to Warsaw.
I would say it depends on how (if?) it arrives from the supplier. Everything pre-assembled counts as one. Thatās how it works at the factory I work at, but I will not claim to be an expert in the automotive industry.
