Donāt have a link, but I recall heating or reading where blank Slates would come off the line and then a post production area. What wasnāt addressed was how complete off the line nor how much at post production.
I can envision that yes, 100% blank Slates roll off ready to ship while others are...
Guess it could be a trade off resources vs benefit. At this point I think most of the people that showed up would have rather specific questions requiring a very knowledgeable presenter, not just a personality with a pretty face. Any physical or verbiage presentation would be highly analyzed...
Iām looking forward to the possibility that if needed to roof panel or whole thing could be removed and then reinstalled say if additional height is needed.
Iād be perfectly happy with a blank Slate. My dogs are the problem as I never taught them to ride in an open bed and I really would be pissed if someone stole one of them when parked at HD or Walmart. If the basic SUV no seat / topper option isnāt available at very reasonable price I will...
Cost benefit analysis a challenge.
For me, the commercial cost of kw isnāt a factor. Comes down to the extra range from larger battery vs solar generated away from home. If I can get an additional 10-15 miles via on board solar for $1000 or less vs $5k for larger battery, very tempting.
I think the majority of folks talk themselves into buying what is on the lot, readily available rather than wait for something more basic, less profitable for dealer. These days the decision isnāt based on $xxxx price difference, but $xx/month and dealers have gotten very adept at that approach.
Most likely, but will start with Level 1. I am completely off grid, solar power only so some constraint. My plan is to charge daytime only using excess PV production to minimize my house batteries. At this point a Level 2 charger would have to be installed in my tractor shed, next to my solar...
The SuV/Cargo back is my only must have, for the dogs. still on the fence as far as battery upgrade. Figure anything else will be Dyi after the fact. This assumes I still have my Tundra. Should I decide to unload that prior to Slate (unlikely) just might have to treat myself more generously.
I always tell our son that his inheritance will include a number of fully appreciated assets. Any new vehicle, tractor, etc we chose to buy with potential inheritance money will be fully appreciated by his Mom and I.
Thanks. as I stated not something Iām very knowledgeable about And should I ever move into a condo/apt, very likely I wonāt be driving. Ah, have I mentioned self driving vehicles for seniors?
i do think charger availability will become more and more important and a challenge, especially older...
