To me, it’s the out the door price. Slate seems pretty adamant that the Blank Slate will be configured as described unless we purposely add changes. We all know the likelihood of getting a basic Maverick or any other main stream vehicle at it lowest MSRP is pretty much smoke and mirrors...
I’m going to agree and disagree.
Inefficient, small gain, yes.
100watts, no, especially the SuV or Van style.
Aptera unique, yes but they are licensing the tech, very hopeful the piece that makes it work will be available for the Slate. Telo apparently has a license.
3-4 miles/hr, not great but...
Agree, must be missing the point. Basically if it doesn’t run native on my iphone/ipad I don’t need it.
if android I have a cheap tablet

Or perhaps you missed my response from Slate?
should Hawaii delivery indeed not be available then I will have to seriously evaluate taking delivery mainland and shipping myself if Slate doesn’t deliver to to a suitable shipper 🤞
Living here, shipping is a major factor in our life. Same day...
Don’t know for sure, 1x Blnk?
Takes me about 2 hours to get to Costco, always stop for a Coffee in Waimea. So if I check app before leaving that gives availability then, not when I’m there. Not about to wander about town looking either, but that’s just me and very likely situation in 18 months...
Yes my first, BUT…
Living on an island my only long trips would be my 160 mile round trips to Costco about 4 times a year otherwise probably 95% would be less than 50 miles, remainder less than 100. I live completely off grid and would be charging off my solar system. Chances of me driving to...
After watching that quick battery change in China can only hope some lessons are taken advantage to benefit Slate, but likely applied to future not current model.
Right now battery choice if my toughest. I can justify going with the Standard as the less range would minimally have minimal effect...
Guessing same way as I did with my Wrangler, if open it got wet. That was a tough lesson when you move to place that gets 140 inches per year average. My top stayed on mostly and just enjoyed sides removed.
Sounds like my plan, 11 months accelerated payments left on my Tundra. Have a spreadsheet to determine having full price saved for Slate unless it comes early 4th quarter 2026, which would be even nicer.
Challenge will be how long I keep my Tundra which I really like.
No clue how this would work. I haven’t been able to itemize taxes for years. Not sure if I pay X interest and get to offset my income by a percentage of X there is much benefit. i already try my best to minimize my tax bite. Years ago that would have been of more interest, now I prefer to keep...
