Your questions answered AND 360 photos! (saw white Slate & met team members in Warsaw)

When we were talking about the truck Jimmy was asking questions and taking some notes, which excited me that even though Slate may not change some things, they ARE listening. I made it very clear that one of the most talked about hangups I see in my social channels is the 1,000 lb towing...

Your questions answered AND 360 photos! (saw white Slate & met team members in Warsaw)

I meant to get pictures of the underside yesterday, but as I started taking my 360 photos they had to take it away for the parade, haha. Sorry about that!!!

I was going to ask about the cutouts, but forgot. The armrest does flip up for storage, at least in this vehicle.

It's also possible I misinterpreted what was being said. I was going to record, but we got started talking about all kinds of other things and I forgot. I wrote down notes for each answer.

I think it was more that they are still testing candidates. My guess is that it would be near completion. Or I misunderstood what they were saying, haha.

Your questions answered AND 360 photos! (saw white Slate & met team members in Warsaw)

Alright folks, I got to meet more members of the team at Slate! Jimmy and a couple other team members (I feel bad I can't recall their names - sorry other Slate team members!!!!) were a HUGE help in answering some of your questions, though I'm hoping you won't be TOO surprised and/or...

Confirmed: 4x4 all-wheel drive AWD planned for future Slate version!

This is absolutely true. I have not experienced an RWD EV in the snow myself, but I have read countless stories talking about how amazing they are in the snow because of 1) the extra weight helping the tires "cut" through the snow (if they don't put silly rubber band tires on it like so many...

Your Photo / Question Requests? -- Seeing Slate Truck In Warsaw This Weekend

He told me the roll bar was "integrated", which I took to mean attached to it and not removable (without some work anyway).

This is a pic I got of the bed last time. There are a looooot of places to bolt something down there.

Last I talked to him he said the glass is removed from the front-of-bed section and used for the SUV kit.

Last time I asked about it he said the roll bar is part of the kit for the shell. Will ask about seats.

They were very clear the last time that I asked about undecided / TBD, but that's been a bit. I already reached out and they said they are happy to answer any and all questions. :)

Basic questions about one pedal driving (Full regen?)

Both of my EVs are on one-pedal, it's amazing and I literally hate driving gas cars now. However, on every trip that I drive I still make sure I use the brakes a few times to prevent seizing.

    Question about the body panels.

In the launch video they said a pro could wrap this vehicle in as little as 30 minutes and that any ole Joe should be able to wrap it in a few hours - the panels were specifically engineered / designed to be easy to wrap. May be easier to just wrap it or put a clear/colored PPF on it.

Open Air Kit Body Style question - how do you keep your truck from getting rained in?

I think they meant the actual Bronco II model / trim, not the generation. Was one of my first vehicles. I think it's definitely a pretty darn close comparison if the Bronco II had a removable cap!
