I plan to open air mine and do vinyl seat covers and figure out a vinyl floor solution. Also curious if there are any drain plugs. Adding this to my list of questions.
Slate will have a truck in Warsaw (where the truck will be manufactured) this weekend, which gives me a chance to get more / more detailed photos than I did last time!
Soooo... Instead of searching every thread for "I wish there was a photo of X" or "I wonder if it can do X", please post here...
It would be AMAZING if Slate made these V2X (more specifically V2H / V2L) capable for something like Tesla's PowerShare or GM's PowerShift to be able to use the Slate Truck as a home backup battery or for camping, etc.
Even if they just allowed it with an adapter that had a couple 20A/110V...
I'm saying I've never seen anything about CT specifically. I also follow the industry very closely, I'm aware of how Tesla operates. I used to be a HUGE fanboy, now I'm a mid-range fanboy, lol. Still love my Model Y more than my Silverado EV though.
How is being grid-tied solar "make believe"?
If you're off grid solar you're just using what you need and wasting the rest, unless you have a MASSIVE battery bank. If you're grid-tied solar you're selling back which means your extra energy generated is being used by others before energy...
I'm middle of the road, just speaking from experience living here in Warsaw, lol. I have family members that are pretty hardcore red who used to make fun of me for it, lol. After a ride in mine they now own a Tesla. 😂Once people actually experience an EV their tune changes - but only after they...
Sorry if this is a buzz kill post, but I just HAD to do the math. 😛
A Smart ForTwo is 106" long and 65" wide for a total of 47.85 SF. Two of them would take up 95.7 SF.
A Slate Truck is 174.6" long and 70.6" wide for a total of 85.6 SF.
If you were to hang the Slate truck topper from your...
Not surprising. When I talked to the guy here in Warsaw he said the Slate will be 90%+ American parts content. That will beat out the new Tesla Model 3 Performance (87.5%) and Tesla Model Y (85%) for the most American-made vehicle you can buy.
At this point it seems you're just here to argue, make yourself feel smarter, and be "right." You've earned your place on my ignore list. Have a good day.
