I'm not trying to drop $2K+ on paint when I could re-wrap multiple times for that over a period of years. Or, as some joked, when shaking cans of Rustoleum is really really cheap, panel by panel.
I think that there was a thread early last month about using various paints, spray-on/roll-on bed liners, etc. There's no way I'd professionally pay to have real paint put on this, but you may decide that it's the best so?
Use a bed extender to lower your top side air resistance? Look on Amazon as an example for $80:
PENSUN Truck Bed Extender, 2 in 1 Design Foldable Pick Up Truck Bed Hitch Mount Extension Rack for Canoe Kayak Ladder Lumber, 800lbs Load Capacity, w/Reflective Tapes (Truck Bed Extender)?
That's interesting. In ATL, they did away with the FREE HOV lanes as of Oct 1, so first you have to qualify for HOV lane (EV's still do) and then you have to pay a variable rate based on time of day and distance traveled...like others who have been paying to do so and AREN'T EV's or High Capacity.
This is no lie. For the first time in 6 years, I changed my own rotors and pads on a GX460 last year...Lexus wanted $1400 for the honor (It took me about 2 hours and $550 for higher grade rotors and pads than Lexus OEM)! I love Lexus service while the vehicle is under warranty and the items...
Sorry. I was driving hands-free 70mph in the Lightning in ATL traffic. The EV software dictates the rate of electrons flowing silently into the bowels of the battery chambers. Setting how much you want and when you want it at home --- all done on the EV software for my Ford (and my old...
It's proper propaganda, to be truthful. It's doesn't exist outside of the King's Castles. (I do enjoy editing the work of attorneys and professional writers though. When you find some little nit wrong, they are irritated about it for days.)
In my 2021 F150, I *might* have been guilty of getting 1-ton+ of rock put in the bed of mine....I don't own that truck anymore. Coincidence? I will never tell.
I'm absolutely being cheeky! I'm about to put this stupid Lightning in the shop for DAYS starting next week to sort out it's FRUNK. (For the record, my Dad was Chevy-only for DECADES...now he has a Toyota Avalon and still attempts to drive it - things change).
It's all fun. I have a gratuitous number of years of formal education (which is amazing given my poor redneck roots), but I like this forum because we all get to opine about this damned plastic truck. (Besides, I edited the high school year book.) ;)
