  1. Would you buy a used Slate truck?

I'm in for a maybe but not as it written. If it's in good shape and is priced well and without any major bugs I would have no problem buying used.
  2. Received my gift in mail from Slate Auto - concept sketch

Got mine today. Hung it up on the fridge.
  3. Rich Rebuilds video review from Slate Truck design, engineering, production labs!

I'm gonna have to wait for another YouTuber to review this. Rich was my neighbor and is a nightmare of a person. I just can't give him views. Glad to hear it's coming along though.
  4. Wheels Specs - Bolt Pattern / Offset? Tire Size Change Via App?

I would be surprised if a 16in rim would fit. Ev's have generally large front brakes to help with the added weight and recharge so fitting the inner diameter of the rim becomes a challenge. Personally I would love a 16 but it's decline in popularity has really reduced the options available for...
  5. Factory Installed Options!

As there should be. I would opt to install most myself just because I could but things like the wrapping or having to do with the electrical of the car I would happily pay extra to have someone do.
  6. SUV vs Cargo

I was asking just this question the other day. I would be happy with a cargo slant back cap with just a cargo net behind the seats. A carpeted floor would be fine for my dogs back there then.
  7. 90s mini truck styling

I'm going for a more subtle look like the GMC typhoon. Black truck with fast back option and red or gold emblems.
  8. Cargo truck with side folding chair (Honda element)

I could get on board with that. Personally I am hoping they have some sort of divider that can be put in behind the seats for those of us that will be making it into more of a cargo van. Even thick webbing behind the seats would be enough for me.
  9. Hoping for a Saturn like buying experience.

You didn't get the "I say, we say, thank you for your purchase" celebration? When I bought my saturns up until about the year 2000 they would have you drive under a balloon trellis and drop the balloons and the whole dealership would come out and congratulate you and give you Saturn gifts. I...
  10. Hoping for a Saturn like buying experience.

Who else here is old enough to remember what it was like to buy a Saturn when they first came out? It was essentially a party in your honor. Factory tours, events, factory pick ups etc. I'm hoping Slate does this type of thing as well to really build a community atmosphere for the truck.
