I don't know if this has been answered or not, apparently there are parts of this forum I had not seen until today. Anyhow, I sent a question to Slate Auto about options, like different seat covers, wheels, bumpers, if these would be factory installed or if we would have to install them ourselves. My original thought was that all Slates would be delivered plain with no options, and options had to be installed.
I got my answer.

As there should be. I would opt to install most myself just because I could but things like the wrapping or having to do with the electrical of the car I would happily pay extra to have someone do.

I hope that the "1 Slate fits all" approach means that things like harnesses for optional fog lights or power windows are standard on all trucks, so that adding those options after the fact is easy.

I know for many automakers, using one harness for all vehicles is actually cheaper and easier than having different harnesses for each trim level/package/option. I'd like to add fog lights, and am hoping that it's a relatively simple wiring job.
