well 100 miles is going to cost $3,000 - how many more $3,000 do you want them to add?
the reality is that for what this pickup is 150 - 250 miles advertised should be plenty
I'll use my wife's daily driving as an example:
40 miles to town
lets estimate high and say 20 miles driving around...
I agree, I'm all in on this truck, and I use to think the $7,500 for an EV incentive was dumb but now that I'm jumping down the EV rabbit hole, if gas is so heavily subsidized then why shouldn't EV get a break?
My assertion is that the only way that a dealer network would even have a remote possibility is if they could piggy back off another brand
the first dealer I worked at was a Subaru / Kia dealer, the company picked up Kia (basically given to them at the time with incentives) 5 years later Subaru...
except you would pay for that service, Dealerships need profit to pay for everything they do

Building...
the last update I seen was that they had some building renovations to do
asbestos mitigation
electrical upgrades
replacing much of the concrete floor
those were expected to be completed by end of October if I remember reading correctly
BUT, we now have a pin on the Google Map!!!
the app should have: - I have no basis for this assumption though
tire size
which battery is installed
what configuration - Topper, fastback, None
they could have an algorithm in the app that would help determine battery life as well as battery health
It would be nice if it had something like the Ryobi Electric Zero Turns had where you could add or remove suitcase batteries as you need, you COULD have some on a charge stand ready to go and hot swap them (i do understand that these are 80v and Slate will be 400v)
Do we know if anybody from Slate is on this forum? Or are we just spit balling for fun?
I don’t necessarily wanna know who they are, I feel they would get bombarded
But it would be nice to know they are lurking and maybe taking suggestions and notes
Minneapolis, MN would be a great location, draw from the Dakota's, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP Michigan
heck I would probably go to a Chicago showing (10 Hours away from me)
pretty cool looking
my concerns
Price - Base and after dealer markup
customizable
I want basic stripped down
EV, I want an EV, I'll keep my F150 for pulling and longer drives
