understandable, my case for example, I’d need to take 1 or 2 days off and make a flight, probably 2 days (weekend) to make it home
would be a nice option
732 miles for me, I’d love to fly out on a Thursday or Friday and make a trip back home, it would be great to have a rep from SLATE guide me on making a charge plan for the way home
great learning experience and learning how to plan so you don’t have range anxiety
If Slate doesn’t materialize I’d be suprised
but I would just wait until someone else comes along and makes something comparable
if that didn’t happen then I probably just keep what I got for years to come
I’m torn , on one hand I want relatively no tech, on the other I want to use my cell phone as a key to operate the vehicle if they have an app or remote door locks and remote start (remote heat and cooling)
Not need the key to drive
My 2017 f150 has the ford pass auto start, it’s awesome
if Slate offers the app or free like my for does then I’m in, if it’s a monthly or yearly subscription then NO
hell my son bought a CF Moto motorcycle, it’s got an app that tells him where his bike is and a bunch of other things
That’s exactly why I don’t want to know who they are, they would get bombarded with
does it have this?
Does it do that?
Why this or that
I just tink it would be valuable to see what people think
Great points and honestly ones that I haven’t given a lot of thought to, motors, controllers, battery, charging controllers, cooling system all have potential for failure
If your referring to ICE engine cars not failing they usually build the dealerships around the service department
depends on the vehicle, KIA / Hyundai ICE engines fail all the time, Chevy engines, Ford Timing chains, turbos, spark plugs, and the list goes on, the truth is they don’t make...
Do you think Slate already has the body panel molds or are the pre production panels 3d printed?
also, I wonder if the inner door frame is steel or composite
