Look at the thread White Roof Wrap Option. How do you figure? I don’t think that proves anything.
Just today I noticed (maybe I never saw it before) another speaker option to give a surround sound setup.I believe Slates product will be successful as long as they stick to their core design and engineering principles that they referenced in their kickoff video.Good ideas that come up that can be incorporated into that core mission can be included.
I went back to the builder and found there's auxiliary power toggles that are plug and play for adding accessories now available, another thing we've had a thread for.Look at the thread White Roof Wrap Option.
A white roof wrap option was added to the slate maker after that thread was started.
The company that hosts these types of forums has no direct affiliation with Slate. That said, anyone can create a forum using this company (there is one for Scout too). There are two admins for this one…they could be Slate employees or just enthusiasts or employees of the forum hoster. Either way, I am sure someone at Slate is paying attention.on the home page...
Slateforums.com is independently operated and has no official affiliation with Slate Auto.
That’s exactly why I don’t want to know who they are, they would get bombarded withThere's probably some PR liability with having a rep on the site who would answer questions, they'd risk giving out answers or promises they can't keep in the long run if things change. Even if most of us know how early on this project is.
That being said it would still be nice to have one company rep who can answer SOME of our questions directly.
Too early to do that. PR-101; don't have informal discussions outside of media. Control the narrative on your timeline.it would still be nice to have one company rep who can answer SOME of our questions directly.
Funny enough, this is the perfect "reddit/eforum car"- the exact car everyone says they want online, which I think may be its downfall.I disagree, they do not need people that think they should get AWD, leather seats, 400 miles of range, 4 doors, self driving for $25k
they need serious people with great suggestions, wants and desires
Not everyone, but a significant number of people that want a return to simpler vehicles and are tired of paying through the nose for gas. If Slate fails to execute, it will be dead on arrival. I’m confident that they haven’t over promised. It’s the perfect commuter/vehicle for my business, but will it work for everyone? Doubtful. But then again, it’s not trying to.Funny enough, this is the perfect "reddit/eforum car"- the exact car everyone says they want online, which I think may be its downfall.
