    EV n00b here. Can't you just program the charger (or the vehicle) to charge at a particular time window? As in: plug it in now, have it start charging when off-peak hours begin?

    Last-mile installation of wheels and bumpers does solve the new-versus-used take-off parts issue. The parts would be leave-off, not take-offs. The wheels and bumpers would be new, packaged parts rather than parts that have been installed and removed (new-ish, but no longer new). Stock bumpers...

    Seems like you're expecting custom ordering. I don't think that'll be the way things will work. And it's by design, to keep things more simple. I expect mods to happen in the Last Mile, either by a third party or a direct-to-customer customer.
