I like the idea of the Slate cap that the roof portion might be removable. Could be handy those rare times you have to move something taller than the window/tailgate.

Never been a fan of the donut spare but, maybe ought to be a consideration for Slate.

And keep in mind those Slate flat pack panels will attach to cab on front end and the relocated window unit at tailgate which I would assume has support as part of purpose.

I could easily be that person. I average 5x/yr I expect to exceed 150 miles round trip. And unless I mess up I fully expect all my charging will be at home from my solar electric, hence no additional charge. So far I’m finding even $2500 extra a challenge to justify. Can I afford it, yes. But...
