guess we really don’t know, butJust wondering, wouldn't you need the rollbar with the full roof rack (includes the SUV roof, not just the cab roof)?
I have had 6 pickups over the years that had a topper/cover, mostly Leers. None of those required any sort of rollbar, extra support.
Not carrying passengers so hopefully crash/safety testing not a factor.
So I don’t see why adding the Slate top (no seats, no airbags, no rollbar) should be any different.
Slate also shows a Van configuration. Given their multiuse philosophy I would expect that van topper to be basically same as SUV, except replacing the windows with solid panels. I want the window version as my dogs like to look out while riding. I would think the rollbar would be detrimental to that configuration.
