    Suspect that is really dictated by the State. I know here, finalize everything, get Temp plates and DMV ships plates to the dealer in about 3 weeks. that could prove interesting given the location of Slate pickup. Could involve a Temp in that location and reregister/Title where you live?

    Sounds like OP may have a fantastic business opportunity, reconfiguring the Slate Dash to his superior design. Likely make enough to pay for his Slate and then some. me, I’m hoping that if a simple audio that it remains hidden behind the Slate panel or if I out for the Carplay type it replaces...

    yes, flat packed for DiY, but the FAQs seem to indicate any options can a paid install, either their post production point or partne. As for items like wheels, tires, bumpers, things that are replacements I would’t think one would have to buy both the original and the replacement unless you...

My priority of use would be phone, tablet, radio, eventually probably tablet. I would hope their position does reflect some safety of use as far as visibility and reach...

    could be mistaken but thought there would be a post production area to install paid to install accessories and wrap.. seems that would make sense especially for items that replace blank Slate items to reduce transport of those items.

    Agreed, but I think the pervasive mindset is things are replaceable, not repairable. Many of use grew up in the repairable era. We need return to that thinking.

    Primers can make a world of difference for adhesion. In an earlier life I was a R&D tech for coatings. One of our products was the GTO elastomeric bumper. 3 part paint system - primer/color/gloss. Proper prep important as well.
