I’ve gone thru this with home solar batteries. Started with 12v deep cycle lead acid, but now have 48v LiFePO which are totally hands off, maintenance free. Exciting.

I’m guessing anyone NOT wanting to use Bluetooth will have the option NOT to. That doesn’t mean Slate should offer an alternative other than that. Sounds like the non BT group would have an easy choice with no impact on others.

I think Slate has been very upfront that these are preproduction and there will be changes. Much rather they put time and effort into getting into production than using resources where there is minimal benefit. Maybe at some point they will sell you one and you can show off your skills.

Hard to say really. Quite possible a larger or LFP Chinese battery could be cheaper even with tariff. If I could get a 200 mile battery near same price as the 150, I’d be excited.
