My real concerns are the electronics. Here in the auto repair wild West we see a lot of electronics failures. I'm hoping, since Slate is buying so much "off the shelf" components that the electrical will be robust and field tested prior to installation.
I AM slightly artistic. I like to refinish guns.
And I stand by my original statement. My mind is in a constant state of conundrum.
Although I see your point.
I remember drying off after a shower and being wet five minutes later. Seeing evaporator drains not dripping, but water actually running at stop lights. I feel for you!
Actually, this is a valid point. The dryness makes the temperature change in shade much more apparent. I used to live in humid Florida and standing under a tree was just as miserable as standing directly under the sun. Anything under 100 degrees (in proper American farenheit) is pretty nice. In...
I try not to be too obnoxious or overbearing. Please forgive my spelling corrections. I'm mildly retarded and slightly artistic. I also have a slight conundrum in my thought process. I will make every effort to be more friendly and pleasing.
I really like SAFE nuclear energy. I hope America starts to embrace nuclear as a safe, clean power source. I'm actually old enough to remember when we thought cars would be powered by a tiny nuclear reactor!
Truch?
The word "truch" is not a standard English word. It might be a misspelling, a dialectal term, or a word from a specific context. If you're referring to the word "trust," it means to have confidence in someone or something.
I agree. The thing is, If I like the Slate as much as I think I will, I don't need 2 vehicles. Or, I can justify them by using the Slate M-F and the Taco for serious desert use on weekends.
I think with the weight (maybe??) and range anxiety, using the Slate for weekend desert explorations is...
Windmills have problems too. They kill hundreds of birds and I have read that the maintenance issues are enormous.
I guess there is no such thing as a free lunch!
Sad to say, I agree. I drive a 2006 Tacoma. My significant other is always pressing me to buy a new truck. At 135K, the old girl drives like a new truck, no squeaks or rattles (driven in the Arizona desert exploring monthly btw) and is the most reliable vehicle I have owned in my 65 years on...
