When I was visiting AU I LOVED seeing all the Holden yutes all over the place. Such sensible vehicles IMO. I'm sure the US EPA rules that keep small trucks from getting made also keeps these from being a reality over here....
Both a 1986 SVO and 2001 Bullitt with a single 62mm turbo (602 at the wheels). My car (well, intake) was the one Hellion used to develop their Bullitt kit.
The Bullitt was my DD.
Full disclosure - I did have a minor accident in the Bullitt in the snow - but that was 100% on me driving in an...
If your assertion is that that those things won't exist simply because I get the car parked in my driveway that's a HUGE leap of assumption.... These things are going to need service - if that happens at a 3rd party site that's something else altogether.
As have I on anything that is either out or warranty or massively modified (so, basically everything I've owned) - but I would hazard to guess a new EV is likely to have some mfgr. service requirements that may preclude casual owner maintenance. There's a number of manufacturers that won't...

But then you can have a mixed fleet - something like...
Hard pass - horrible lighting, massively power inefficient, generally ugly. I would love to see a real glass lens tho. HID generally has that covered.
The "lenses" on my 16 year old Honda go milky about every 3 years - 10 minutes with a buffer and some toothpaste powder and they're clear as...
+1
I feel without some factory provision for a reasonable audio system anything added on will be a kludge.
Along those lines - I sincerely hope they're considering making CAD drawings available for most of the bolt-on pieces. It's not like the stuff can't be duplicated with a scanner already...
