According to google my little pickup can get to 60 in 12 to 14 if the ramp isn't uphill. Getting up the ramp in less than 10 without stirring the stick like Mario Andretti would be positively amazing.
Compared to what I'm driving now, the blank Slate is positively luxurious. Aircon, back up cam, heater with no weird smells, intermittent wipers, any thing else is just a bonus. I like the bench seat, but I really do slide around a bit. No must haves' just bring it and lemme drive it!
I'd guess upgrading an existing EV drive line would be much easier than ev converting an old gas vehicle, which is pretty common.
What about diff locks, drift brakes and such? It seems like it'd just be a matter of mods on existing components. 🤔
I dunno looking at roughly a 35% increase. I guess the more expensive the car the less it matters. I still feel like the slate will still be the best EV value, I also feel like there's a lot of change on the way. When I've talked about the Slate to non-car nerds I've said I'm enjoying the...
I'd really be interested in a cargo van rear cover, but is it only available on fleet trucks? Maybe I need to look at having a very small fleet. For instace a fleet of one , is that still a fleet?
That's what I was imagining! A bit of autocross, 1/4 mile circle track maybe? Heck a few hot laps around an abandoned mall?
A cross country rally? All built to the same spec. the main thing is that they're identical, so it'd all be up to the driver. I think it could be great fun in a 24hours of...
No these lil trucks aren't meant to be any kind of performance vehicle, but if me and my mate Paul both got one on the same day. You can bet we'd know which is the fastest by the time the sun went down.
If ya spec your Slate for less than 30k, that's a pretty cheap way to go racing. It's...
"Slate Killer"articles can only add to the buzz. Remember the headline "Faraday Future is Introducing a new Tesla Killer!" I kinda think there's a real threshold when comedians start mentioning it. "I was so scared I squeezed out a Slate!" "I read 50 Shades of Grey, it's absolutely NOT a Slate...
I dunno. . I see them like those little plastic things you can buy that stick on your Crocs. I guess if ya just need the shiny, here's where the shiny can go. I don't really "get" the fancy interior panels either, but I'm a firm believer in more options being more better.
I don't wanna hate on the Telo. I'm not the target customer and that's just fine. I feel like more Ev makers, and more choices can only be better for us all.
