An even more popular pickup truck accessory, besides the dangling scrotum, is the taillight/brake light/turn signal light bar below the tailgate. It’s not unusual to see one with at least one LED burned out. Do you plan on adding a rear light bar?

With the CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Lamp) being removed from the cab roof and moved to a little light by the tailgate handle, I do kind of want more lights on the back up high.

Probably not along the bottom of the tailgate like most trucks, but maybe tucked under the spoiler lip at the top of the tailgate? Or if I install a rear ladder rack, on that.

Especially if I lower it.

Funny, I first saw this and thought "Who'd mount a light bar facing rearward - someone who wants to blind people behind him?" Like this:

Although probably illegal on roads in most locales, a bright, rear-facing light bar could be a nice counter-measure to the idiots that blast their high-beams into your rear-view mirror.

No, but I might add a rapid flash module to the tailgate third-light. And maybe make it LED.

I did this with my Miata. Small cars need to be seen by the dumba$$es that are constantly on their phones as they approach the light at the intersection.
