I felt like we were getting off pretty light in Dallas- the hundreds didn’t even come until the end of July! To your point, August isn’t usually “outdoor weather.”

Hammets wharf in Newport RI is this weekend so I will probably go Saturday. God knows why they would show it there. Absolutely zero people in that town would be interested in it. I live there and that is not the place to show off a low budget item. At least I can walk there.

I'm at the Newport event. Unfortunately there is no slate truck. There are 5 or 6 employees there though under a canopy on the main strip. I over heard them saying the truck wouldn't start so presumably it in the area and maybe they can tow it in

I came to Newport, RI today (Mon 7/28) and the truck was there. Maybe a tad hungover, but it was in attendance! In-person is a whole new experience, and I recommend going to an event if you can get there. For a prototype, the build quality was great and the materials all feel solid. We couldn't sit in it, but you could touch it. Really glad I came.

That's great news. I might try to get down there tomorrow. I'm no fan of the heat though and it's hot in that parking lot.
