Yes when the incentive was possible, slate stated under 20k after incentive, and it's simple math to say 20k+7.5k = 27.5k
Slate made no other statements at the time on price.
Since the incentives were cancelled, Slate has only stated "mid 20s" and that they were going to try to keep it as low as possible.
Except they said "mid-20s" from the beginning. They even said that before they said under 20K with incentive.

If that's so, then I think they have probably been targeting roughly "Mid 20s" from the start, and 7500 off of that just conveniently landed somewhere under $20k, so $27,499 wasn't something slate had in mind at all.

The gloss wraps I've seen all have a weird plasti-dip look to them. Not sure why that is, maybe they were just lower quality material. You don't get the same deep luster you get with paint and a gloss coat. Matte, satin, pearl, or flake paint is usually more of a premium thing, and they're easily reproducible finishes in a wrap.
I’ve never had a wrap and most of them I’ve seen are advertising something so that’s another story. I’ll just have some learning to do. Thanks
