Channels and pathways for accessory wire routing throughout the vehicle will help greatly for customization and keeping the cost of adding the accessories people want down.

This would cost some engineering time upfront, but shouldn’t really add to manufacturing cost down the road if it’s rebuilt into the exterior body panels and interior panels.

The current crop of new cars are extremely difficult to get any wires from point A to B due to zero forethought for adding accessories.

Don’t junk up the vehicle with pre-wiring this and that for everybody. That will just drive cost for those of us who don’t want assorted things.

True, just give me some cable run points, a fairly easy way to get to them, and I'll be set. I need at some way to get to the roof for 12V power for Dashcam, etc.
