PTC Heating

Is anyone else a bit concerned about the cold weather range of the Slate? I saw that PTC heaters would be used for cabin heating on the Munro Beta factory tour. Does anyone know if a PTC heater will be used to heat the batter in cold conditions? Eric Keipper did say that they hope to transition to a heat pump in later generations as costs come down.

I wish it had a heat pump, but PTC heating won't affect my 30 mile commute. Battery and cabin heat would both be PTC, but I don't know if they share the same loop.

Hello, As everyone should know the first of anything will change as technology and personal taste advance. Looking forward to my basic Stale truck soon and then in a few years I can upgrade to the newer and different version. Yes things will change.
