Rack Towers with an Open Air SUV?

Could the rack towers from Slate be used on an Open Air SUV? Or would the attachment points for the two get in each other's way?
I don't see a choice in the Maker for adding rack towers to the Open Air SUV model, or either of the hardtop SUV models either. Doesn't necessarily mean it couldn't be done, just that Slate is not offering both at the same time in the wish machine.

From pictures I've seen and in person, it shouldn't be a problem. The rack looks to use the same track system the hardtop uses and the rollbars do not use the tracks.
But that could change with the production model.
