I haven't been there, but there are pictures of the Verge at Bike Shed on the internet. I also listened to a podcast where they test road them there. I assume it's similar to Slate where the bikes are direct to consumer, but they have worked something out at Bike Shed where you can test ride them there.

Did they stop releasing proof of their claims? before getting to the really critical ones?

In case people still take this seriously and haven't found out yet, there are two things you should know about Donut.
https://www.theautopian.com/the-gam...e-being-questioned-by-a-whistleblower-report/
  1. A criminal report has been filed by a whistleblower regarding the company's claims.
  2. One of the people in charge also has a company called "Asilab", which claims to have the world's first artificial superintelligence. They have no evidence of this. I've actually been trying to read up on AI theory stuff, and even complete nonsense insane research has more than them. I don't think they even have any researchers, neurologists (they claim to use the "architecture" of the human brain), etc. on staff. They're just claiming to have solved every problem with a bunch of web developers and tech business guys.

A whistleblower complaint could go either way. Supposedly we were supposed to know by now if it was real or not, but testing of the more extraordinary claims about cycles and scalability never came, the weekly releases stopped, the only release has been about production motorcycle, but apparently it's only available for employees.

The architecture of the human brain is just the concept of a neural network which was proposed in an article published in 1943, and in that article they referenced work that was even earlier
So nothing new to claiming they are using the architecture of the human brain.

To pass legal muster the person filing the complaint will have to offer tangible evidence, which may be documents and sworn affidavits that the tests were rigged. Of course Donut will dispute that which may get whoever is dealing with the complaint to compel Donut to hand over a battery cell or 2 so they can be tested by a credible independent, or maybe government lab to settle the argument.
I'm not sure if it's to be dealt with by a court of law or just a government entity. Either way it's going to be interesting.

Don't insult me by explaining what a NEURAL NETWORK is. I said I was reading about AI theory. Almost everyone is using a neural network. I can make an artificial neural network on my personal computer in a matter of hours by following a Python tutorial.

That's not the same thing as claiming to have an artificial "human brain" that's smart like a person.

Asilab (https://asilab.com/) is claiming to have this:

We are still discovering new things about how the human brain works in the present day. I didn't see any research papers tied to their "company" or even any evidence they had AI or neuroanatomy researchers on staff, just a bunch of web developers.

Asilab is basically claiming to have solved every problem in AGI and presented absolutely no evidence to support that claim.

I apologize, no insult was intended.
