That's what is intriguing for me. If one of the buttons on the remote is just 'precondition' then I'm fine with that, as long as it's like any standard keyfob. Maybe have a preset cabin temp you set when you plug your phone into the truck and it'll store that for whenever you run preconditioning.
Given the manual AC knobs with no specific temperature setting, I would expect any "precondition" button on the fob would just turn on the HVAC to whatever manual setting you had it at when you left the vehicle.

The lack of cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity on a ‘bare bones’ truck is understandable. Now, factor in the lack of preconditioning and NO heated seats…
Heated seats are already on the table AFAIK. Several videos mention them as a cover you can zipper over the regular seats.

Think they could make cooled seat covers to that would be nice since I live in az could have one for winter and one for summer would be so nice but the cooled maybe a build in one part a more permanent think I think idk how the cooled seats work in my ford now that I think about it I know a fan further research is needed Hehe

Yes, I did hear that. It's a bit lame. I could buy one at Amazon for like $50, but it will look cheap and probably not fitting as well as the factory seats. Have you ever driven to work in the morning after your car is sitting outside in subzero temperatures? Not fun. Heated seats make the drive to work tolerable.
